From a rainfall point of view Chapin Lake is a reasonably normal spot; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. So many fun things close to Chapin Lake, clearly incredible. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Wolf River, and camping at Kastle Kampground is always a fine experience. Through       the warm months at Chapin Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Chapin Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. If you come at the right time of year, Embarrass River - South Branch offers some wonderful whitewater; camping is available at Conroy's Bear Lake Campground. Enjoy a round of golf at Glen Cairn Golf Course not far                  from Chapin Lake, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Cobblestone Inn and Suites.
