You'll need more than a day to discover everything Chamberlain Lake has to offer, you can camp at Buckatabon Lodge and Lighthouse, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ontonagon River. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch. High temperatures at Chamberlain       Lake through the summertime months are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Chamberlain Lake fall into the 0's. What a location this is for outdoors people. Lakes? Sure, Heart Lake is nearby; if you need a location to stay Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Chamberlain                  Lake is right by the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Haymeadow Creek. It's always good to explore Portage Spring, and if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Gateway Golf Club. Chamberlain Lake is a good place of common rain; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Williams Lake is a great lake right next door to Chamberlain Lake.
