This lake is so wonderful. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Chain O' Lakes; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Swamps like Otter Creek are fun to go to; not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Greenwood Forest. Throughout the summertime, highs frequently       are in the 80's at Chain O' Lakes, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Chain O' Lakes plunge into the 0's. So much cool stuff in close proximity to Chain O' Lakes, simply fantastic. Brownes Point is not far from Chain O' Lakes at all. There's so much to do here at Chain O' Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Deerhaven                  Campground is a good site for that. Take a side visit to Emmons Creek; there are some fine whitewater spots on Little Wolf River. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel; from Chain O' Lakes you obtain a good panorama of Mount Joel. This lake is so wonderful. Beasley Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if you came to camp Hartman Creek State Park is a great place to do that.
