You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Frahm Lake near Chain Lakes, and a round of golf at nearby Fire       Hill Golf Club is a pleasant way to kill some time. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Chain Lakes highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
