High temperatures at Chain Lake through the warm months are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Chain Lake tend to be in the-10's. Dry warm beds await you at Paradise Shores Resort Hotel, and there's good hiking along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure       to run into some friendly people from Eau Claire here. There are some great whitewater spots on Duncan Creek, and the Hickory Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. An average amount of rainfall falls at Chain Lake; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. Chain Lake is not the only place nearby, Brush Lake is a nearby lake, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel                  - Chetek is a great choice. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. Christie Mountain is a nice local ski area; why not take a refreshing hike along the Deer Fly Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Cedar Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a fine place to camp. This lake is so wonderful.
