Sure, Heidmann Lake is in the vicinity, and Hidden Valley has fine slopes and a friendly staff. Chada Lake is a good site of common rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Devil's River is a good whitewater spot in close proximity to Chada Lake; a brilliant close by hotel is Best Western Lakefront Hotel. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do near Chada       Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Maple View Campsite is a fine place to camp, and Chada Lake is not far at all from Manitowoc. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Chada Lake is Neshota River; if you need a spot to stay Fox Hills Resort is a splendid choice. All through the summertime months at Chada Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days                  of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Chada Lake are in the 0's.
