Golf can be played at Gateway Golf Club. Hiking along the Alligator Eye Trail is tremendous fun, and a short journey to Goodyear Springs is always worthwhile. Cedar Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Not far from Cedar Lake, you'll hit upon Balsam Lake which is a pretty lake, and Ontonagon River is a perfect whitewater spot                  close by. This lake is so wonderful.
