A splendid place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Cedar Lake is Pike River - South Branch, and folks from Marinette love to come here. Yeah, come here to Cedar Lake for a glorious time. You're perhaps interested in lakes, Morgan Lake is one of those nearby, and Norway Mountain is a glorious local ski area.

Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cedar Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Cedar Lake drop into
the 0's. Pike River is a magnificent whitewater spot next to Cedar Lake; Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a nice place to get some rest.

This camp ground is the best I travel 346 mi or 6 hours to enjoy it. Unfortamatly not this year =[...i like camping alot and this is one of the better places I have gone because you can do alot to entertain yourself and theres always good fishing on the lakes so I highly reccomend this campground to anyone that wants to have a good time and lots of fun....This is a nice campground but there are alot of seasonal sites that fill the park...this is a nice camping spoy with plenty of attractions you wont be disappointed... |
