If you come at the right time of year, Pike River offers some nice whitewater; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Marinette. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pike River - South Branch, and a wonderful place to camp here at Cedar Lake is Tranquil Vista Campgrounds. Dry warm beds await you at Best       Western Crivitz Lodge, and a day on the slopes of Norway Mountain is just what you need. Summertime highs at Cedar Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while Cedar Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's.
