Cedar Lake is a good location of typical rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Cedar Lake has it all. At Cedar Lake you always meet someone from Sheboygan, and Sheboygan River is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. If you need a site to stay The Osthoff       Resort is a nice choice, and if you came to camp Plymouth Rock Camping Resort is a wonderful location to do that. At Cedar Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Cedar Lake are in the 0's. Hidden Valley has delightful slopes and a friendly staff, and a wonderful close by hotel is Baymont                  Inn & Suites Plymouth. This lake is so wonderful. Millhome Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit; Cedar Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, K A Campground is a tremendous local campground.
