There's whitewater on Duncan Creek for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Hickory Ridge Trail, and Christie Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cedar Lake. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold       winter nights at Cedar Lake are in the-10's. Camping at Northshore Bar and Campground is always a fine experience; dry warm beds await you at Glen Loch Motel. The nice people of Eau Claire like to hang out close by, and there are some great whitewater spots on Chippewa River. Good hiking is available along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and camping is available at Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cedar Lake;                  Deer Fly Trail is a tremendous local trail; Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a good place to get some rest. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. While you're here at Cedar Lake, you could also check out wonderful Bog Lake; why not have a look at close by Cedar Creek since you're here at Cedar Lake.
