Cattail Lake is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Gogebic Range is unbeatable! Get soaked paddling on Chippewa River - East Fork, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Cattail Lake get into the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's with temperatures at

| | Cattail Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area in close proximity to Cattail Lake has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Lake Superior Lodge, and Day Lake Campground is a nice campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Gogebic Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cattail Lake; Black Lake Trail is a good local trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Lower Clam Lake.
Some of the water close by flows, like Torch River; Kelly Lake is a glorious lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Cattail Lake is in the vicinity of Lower Clam Lake Dam which is a stunning site unquestionably worth going to; you
can stay the night at Chippewa River Campground. The annual precipitation here at Cattail Lake is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.

Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail
 | 16 miles away 1 PHOTO The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail. It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin. The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties. This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad. There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail. There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa. At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas.
