Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Gogebic Range is unbeatable! Get soaked paddling on Chippewa River - East Fork, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Cattail Lake get into the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's with temperatures at       Cattail Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area in close proximity to Cattail Lake has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Lake Superior Lodge, and Day Lake Campground is a nice campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The Great Divide Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is great on Marengo River. Now, you may imagine that's a lot                  but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Gogebic Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cattail Lake; Black Lake Trail is a good local trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Lower Clam Lake. Some of the water close by flows, like Torch River; Kelly Lake is a glorious lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Cattail Lake is in the vicinity of Lower Clam Lake Dam which is a stunning site unquestionably worth going to; you can stay the night at Chippewa River Campground.
