Catherine Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. What a place this is for outdoors people. If you came to camp Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a good place to do that, and skiing at Indianhead is one of those things you just must do. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. Yeah, come up here to the Gogebic Range for a glorious time.
At Catherine Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops

| | down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Catherine Lake. From a precipitation point of view Catherine Lake is a rather normal location; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. the rapids of Black River.
Camping at Wabasso Lake Campground is always a wonderful experience, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Gogebic Range will keep
you coming back time and again. Not far from Catherine Lake, you'll discover Beaver Lake which is a wonderful lake; there's whitewater on Turtle River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. A delightful nearby hotel is Bluffs Inn; hey, Pardee Creek is a nice local stream.
