This lake is so wonderful. Near Catherine Lake you discover the Pigeon Lake Trail which is a nice hiking trail; if you've had enough of Catherine Lake, Hopkins Lake is nearby. Namekagon River
 | 17 miles away This river has nearly 70 miles of river that can be paddled. It goes all the way from the Hayward landing to the Riverside landing after it joins the St Croix River.
