Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Catherine Lake. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Bois Brule River. The amount of rainfall that falls at Catherine Lake is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Catherine Lake and you like golf, you       can stop by Forest Point Resort & Golf Course; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by George Lake. High temperatures at Catherine Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Catherine Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. You'll need more                  than a day to look at everything Catherine Lake has to offer, you can camp at Swansons Motel and Campground, and after a long day outdoors Hayward Super 8 Motel is a delightful location to spend a night or two. Rustic Roost Motel Dining is a pleasant location to get some rest; perfect hiking is available along the Pigeon Lake Trail.
