Super 8 Chetek is a good spot to get some rest; a lake nearby is McDonald Lake. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Get covered with water paddling on Duncan Creek; dry warm beds await you at Glen Loch Motel. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Cather Lake you can take a hike along the       O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Eau Claire. This lake is so wonderful. The Deer Fly Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Cather Lake. Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a fine local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River. Cather Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is                  typically the driest month. For the period of the summer at Cather Lake highs are regularly in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Cather Lake. If the weather is nice here at Cather Lake, you can go for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail; Cather Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Loon Lake Camp Grounds is a great spot to camp nearby.   Super 8 Chetek, Chetek 13 miles away Beautiful Pride of Super 8 facility on a hillside overlooking the Chetek River.
