So many exciting things close to Catfish Lake, truly extraordinary. Bullhead Lake is a magnificent lake near Catfish Lake, and Chippewa River - East Fork is a great whitewater spot nearby. There's nice hiking along the North Country Trail; some close by water includes Lynch Creek. There's so much       to do here at Catfish Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a great spot for that, and the Black Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Don't leave Catfish Lake without first going for a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Ross ' Teal Lake Lodge & Teal Wing Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Boulder Lodge Resort, and if                  you need a site to stay Comfort Suites Hayward is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. At Catfish Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Catfish Lake temperatures dip to the-10's.
