This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place to camp here at Castle Rock Lake is Bavarian Campsite, and golf can be played at Castle Rock Golf Course. High temperatures at Castle Rock Lake throughout the long summer days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Castle Rock Lake. Why       not camp at Buckhorn Campground Resort while you're here at Castle Rock Lake; after a long day outdoors Northern Bay Golf Resort and Marina is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Castle Rock Lake is great!. Hamm Dam is pretty and it's close to Castle Rock Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Baraboo here. An average amount of rain falls at Castle Rock Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain;                  January is the month with the least moisture.
