Carp Lake is a good spot of typical rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This site rules, just explore all the amusing things to do right next door to Carp Lake. Butternut Creek is a brilliant site to stop at, and       dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Phillips. There's whitewater on Flambeau River - South Fork for all you adrenaline people; while you're here, you could also stop at lovely Long Lake. For the duration of the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Carp Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Carp Lake dipping down into the                  0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
