Lakes are brilliant; Katinka Lake is a lake that's right next door to Carlin Lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Carlin Lake; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Carlin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Presque Isle Campground is a delightful place for that.       Whitewater paddling is great on Planter Creek, and you can hit the slopes at Big Powderhorn Mountain in the neighborhood.
