This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a splendid choice, and Peshtigo River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area close to Campbell Lake has to offer. A good close by hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI, and close to Campbell Lake you find       a golf course called Desmidt's Golf Course & Country Club. Campbell Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Timberline Resort and Campground is a good local campground, and whitewater paddling is great on Thunder River. Here at Campbell Lake there are plenty of folks from Marinette; do put some time aside to spend at Spring Rapids since you're here at Campbell Lake.
