During the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Camp Three Lake. Don't leave Camp Three Lake without first going for a hike along the Eds Lake Trail System; if you come at the right time       of year, Popple River offers some nice whitewater. Drift down the rapids of Peshtigo River in a kayak. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Camp Three Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Joe Campground. The yearly precipitation here at Camp Three Lake is about average; September is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
