Lakes are great; Center Lake is a lake that's right next door to Camp Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail, and at Rock Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Camp Lake there are some interesting things to see. This lake is so wonderful. The Volo Bog Interpretive Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites Antioch is a glorious       choice. Through the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Camp Lake. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Camp Lake sink into the 0's. Camp Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February.                  If you came for an overnight stay Silver Lake Marina is a fine spot to camp. So many fun things to do at Camp Lake, so little time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Camp Lake; Tamarack View Trail is a splendid local trail; you'll meet a lot of folks from Racine here. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Spring Valley Country Club is always a joy; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wilmot mountain if you're here. Old Port Cove Marina is a good local campground, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of White River.
