This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail is always a wonderful adventure; Camp Lake is not the only place nearby, Big Brook Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Camp Lake called the Virgin Pine Trail; Camp Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Perch       Lake Campground is a fine local campground. The Pigeon Lake Trail is a great hiking trail close to Camp Lake, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Hayward is a wonderful choice. But wait, there's more to do next to Camp Lake. If you came to camp Two Lakes Campground is a splendid place to do that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Bois Brule River. Put some time aside to spend at Bearsdale Springs while you're here at Camp Lake, of course you                  could also check out Lake Sixteen if you're here; it's not far at all.
