An average amount of rainfall falls at Camp Four Lake; most of the rain falls through August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camp Four Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Butternut Lake Campground is a great local campground, and if you come at the right       time of year, Bad River offers some fine whitewater. For the duration of the months of summer at Camp Four Lake highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows at Camp Four Lake through the winter mostly plunge into the 0's. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a nice location to spend a night or two; get yourself into a kayak and hit                  Chippewa River - East Fork. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Not far from Camp Four Lake, you'll stumble on Slim Lake which is a pretty lake; camping at Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground is always a delightful experience.
