At Camelia Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's; the nighttime is quite colder of course, commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Camelia Lake tend to be in the-10's. Camelia Lake is a good spot of common rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months       is February. Camping is available at Apple River Campgrounds North, and after a long day outdoors Cumberland Inn And Suites is a fine place to spend a night or two. Camelia Lake is not the only place close by, Gilbert Lake is a close by lake, and a good place to camp here at Camelia Lake is Northlake Campgrounds. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Apple River. This lake is so wonderful.
