This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Christie Mountain in the vicinity. Lakes are magnificent; Chick Lake is a lake that's near Calkins North Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Calkins North Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd       is a nice site for that, and float down the rapids of Duncan Creek in a kayak. Hiking along the Deer Fly Trail is tremendous fun, and Glen Loch Motel is a good place to get some rest. Calkins North Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Calkins North Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rock Lake Resort and Campground;                  while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Eau Claire. Pikes Peak is clearly visible from Calkins North Lake, and Calkins North Lake is right by the Hickory Ridge Trail. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Chippewa Falls, Wi is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. All the outdoors cool things close to Calkins North Lake will keep you coming back again and again. A quick tour to Cedar Creek right next door to Calkins North Lake is a nice idea; get wet paddling on Chippewa River. At Calkins North Lake all through the warm months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's.
