If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Butterfly Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Pike River - South Branch in a kayak. Lakes? Sure, Jug Lake is close by. During the long summer days highs here at Butterfly Lake reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's,       and night lows at Butterfly Lake during the winter commonly drop into the 0's.
