Burlock Lake gets a typical amount of rain; September is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Burlock Lake you obtain some great water scenery at Doering E12.129 Dam, and Prairie River                  is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. High temperatures at Burlock Lake through the days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
