Be careful coming to Bullhead Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. There's so much to do here at Bullhead Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Birchwood Beach Campgrounds is a great location for that, and getting to Butternut Creek from Bullhead Lake is trouble-free. A lake nearby is Long       Trade Lake 45, and the skiing at Wild Mountain is great. This lake is so wonderful. St. Croix River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and the panoramas at Saint Croix National Scenic River will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Luck Country Inn is a perfect choice, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. Bullhead Lake is great enough to spend more than a                  day at, James N Mcnally Campground is a great local campground, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ST.
