Wild Mountain is a good local ski area; you can take a little journey to Atlas Feed Mill Mill Dam since you're here at Bullhead Lake. For the duration of the months of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Bullhead Lake, and throughout       the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's while Bullhead Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. Bullhead Lake is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Birchwood Beach Campgrounds is a pleasant spot to camp nearby; after a long day outdoors Luck Country Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Bullhead Lake you can                  take a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail, and unsurprisingly, this is a perfect area for people who like lakes, Wallin Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Croix Valley, Wi is a splendid choice, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Bullhead Lake. The slopes of Trollhaugen are so inviting noone can resist, and Saint Croix National Scenic River is a good local destination. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Long Trade Lake 45; Butternut Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting. Get yourself into a kayak and hit St. Croix River.
