Camping at Bullhead Lake is tremendous fun, Thunder Lake Lodge is a tremendous local campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Thunder River. Throughout the summertime, highs frequently are in the 80's at Bullhead Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with       lows in the 0's to Bullhead Lake. Bullhead Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. After a long day outdoors Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a good place to spend a night or two. If you came for an overnight stay Marty and June Katzka is a delightful place to camp. Lakes are great; Frog Lake is a lake that's near Bullhead Lake.
