Go to Bullhead Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. And if that's not enough there's a heap more exciting stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. Bullhead Lake is a great site to camp, Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a great site. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Virgin Pine Trail is splendid fun, and North Haven Country Cottage is a brilliant place to get some rest. Just can't get enough of the Gogebic Range. You could also stop at Atkins Lake while you're here at Bullhead Lake; it's close by, and if you need a site to stay Junek's Bay Cabins is a delightful choice. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Bullhead Lake. close by is Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course. This lake is located in the wonderful Gogebic Range.
The yearly precipitation here at Bullhead Lake is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain;
February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Bullhead Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with winter
lows in the-10's overnight here at Bullhead Lake. Bullhead Lake is right by the North Country Trail; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Marengo River.
