For the period of the summer months, highs typically are in the 80's at Buggert Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Buggert Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. From a rainfall point of view Buggert Lake is a quite common place; June is the month that gets the       most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Get yourself into a kayak and hit St. Croix River, and camping is available at James N Mcnally Campground. If you need a place to stay Luck Country Inn is a glorious choice, and some nearby water includes Bear Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Hinckley-Days Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Old Logging Trail Campground is a good spot                  to camp. If you come at the right time of year, Kettle River offers some brilliant whitewater; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Buggert Lake.
