This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Presque Isle for all you adrenaline junkies, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Minocqua. The Alligator Eye Trail is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Bug Lake, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Minocqua is a nice choice. Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Birchwood Campground is a magnificent location for that.
Bug Lake is a good spot of normal rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
