So much exciting stuff to do here in the Gogebic Range, too nice to be true. Buffalo Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Chippewa River Campground is a magnificent local campground. Best Western Holiday House is a great place to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable       stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Brunsweiler River, and if you've had enough of Buffalo Lake, Delano Lake is nearby. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Black Lake Trail, and get wet paddling on Marengo River. The yearly rain here at Buffalo Lake is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity                  of Buffalo Lake. Buffalo Lake is not the only site close by, Muskie Springs Lake is a close by lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by Lower Clam Lake Dam while you're here. There's so much to do here at Buffalo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Day Lake Campground is a good site for that. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Buffalo Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
