Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do in the neighborhood of Buff Lake. Northern Pine Inn is a magnificent place to get some rest, and Namekagon River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Christie Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff; do stop by Benson Creek if you're       here at Buff Lake. From a rain point of view Buff Lake is a pretty common spot; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Why not check out Badger Bay also if you're here, and obviously, this is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Mud Lake is a lake nearby. Trail's End Resort is a good local campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Buff Lake; Serley Camp Trail is a pleasant local trail. This lake                  is so wonderful. At Buff Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while Buff Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Hardwood Trail, and why not camp at T.P.
