This lake is so wonderful. There's glorious hiking along the Bearskin State Park Trail, and Buckskin Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Lac Du Flambeau Tribal Council is a tremendous place to camp nearby. Good hiking is available along the Newman Springs Ski Trail; Gene Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Do check out       Great Bass Lake near Buckskin Lake, it's a lovely lake; if you come at the right time of year, Flambeau River - South Fork offers some good whitewater. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Buckskin Lake. Broken Bow Campgrounds is a nice local campground, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Minocqua, Wi is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Buckskin Lake typically tend to be in the 70's, and through summer                  nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Buckskin Lake sink into the-10's.
