A lake nearby is Bucks Lake 7.7, and going for a hike on the Serley Camp Trail is always a nice adventure. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Chetek; if you came for an overnight stay Lured In Lodge & Campground is a pleasant place to camp. The annual rain here at Bucks Lake is about average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year       is February. South Fork Hemlock Creek flows through this neighborhood; why not camp at T.P. Resort and Campground while you're here at Bucks Lake. Gotta ski! Christie Mountain is a fine place to do that, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Rice Lake is a nice choice. High temperatures at Bucks Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and                  winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Bucks Lake. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Bucks Lake.
