During the long summer days here at Buck Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Buck Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. Do have a look at Big Dummy Lake right next door to Buck Lake, it's       a picturesque lake, and golf can be played at Cumberland Golf Club. Buck Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Shell Lake Municipal Campground is a great site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A gorgeous lake like Johnnys Lake near Buck Lake is a nice place to have a look at, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn Shell Lake.
