At Brushy Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Brushy Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Playing golf is       lots of fun at Tahoe Lynx Golf Course; there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Newman Springs Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Brush Lake, and a day on the slopes of Big Powderhorn Mountain is just what you need. Camping at Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is always a perfect experience, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Turtle River. A nice location to camp here at Brushy Lake is Wabasso Lake Campground, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Ironwood is a good location to spend a night or two. Black River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and Americinn - Ironwood, Mi is a great place to get some rest.
