Not far from Brushy Lake, you'll stumble on Harper Lake which is a pretty lake, and the skiing at Blackjack is good. At Brushy Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Brushy Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. | | lots of fun at Tahoe Lynx Golf Course; there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Newman Springs Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Brush Lake, and a day on the slopes of Big Powderhorn Mountain is just what you need. paddling on Turtle River. A nice location to camp here at Brushy Lake is Wabasso Lake Campground, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Ironwood is a good location to spend a night or two. Black River has a splendid whitewater
paddling spot close by, and Americinn - Ironwood, Mi is a great place to get some rest. Brushy Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
