McDermott Creek flows through this vicinity, and there's whitewater on Chippewa River for all you adrenaline people. And that's not all you can do here at Brush Lake. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Duncan Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Brush Lake has to offer, you can camp       at Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Chetek is a good spot to spend a night or two, and you can hit the slopes at Christie Mountain close by. Stay the night at Lured In Lodge & Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Glen Loch Motel. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Clear Lake while you're here at Brush Lake; it's close by, and the Deer Fly Trail is a good hiking trail close                  by. Brush Lake is not the only place nearby, McCann Lake is a nearby lake, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Brush Lake; during August this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Brush Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's; the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 50's.
