Summer brings highs in the 80's to Briar Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and overnight lows through the winter for Briar Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Lower Tamarack River; there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the       Markville Snowmobile Trail. Briar Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; during June this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge At Crooked Lake, and why not camp at Clam Lake Resort and Campgrounds if you're here at Briar Lake. After a long day outdoors Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and there's some exciting stuff to see at Dahl G9844 Dam near                  Briar Lake. You could also explore 0.4 Reservoir if you're here at Briar Lake; it's close by, and a wonderful site to camp here at Briar Lake is Clam Falls Campground.
