If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll adore Boygan Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Boygan Lake is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year at Boygan Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The       cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Boygan Lake fall into the-10's. Take a hike on the Alligator Eye Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Ontonagon River. Camping at North Shore Campgrounds is always a pleasant experience; a delightful close by hotel is Best Western Derby Inn. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Tamarack Timbers Cottages is a good                  choice, and enjoy a round of golf at Gateway Golf Club.
