There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Wolf River, and Bowman Lake is right by the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. For the period of the summer months, highs usually are in the 70's at Bowman Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours       in the wintertime at Bowman Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. A good close by hotel is Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites, and why not camp at Williams' Campground since you're here at Bowman Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Bowman Lake, you could also stop at close by Reservoir Pond 22.0, and camping is available at Boot Lake Campground. Bowman Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; through September this area sees the most rain; the                  driest of the months is February.
