This lake is so wonderful. A scenic lake like Squash Lake right next door to Bowles Lake is a great location to pop by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bearskin State Park Trail. The annual precipitation here at Bowles Lake is about average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most       rain; the driest month is February. Quality Inn Rhinelander is a perfect location to get some rest. Man, is there lots of exciting things to do close to Bowles Lake. There's so much to do here at Bowles Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Northforest Campgrounds is a great site for that, and there are plenty of folks from Merrill here. Lakes are such serene places, why not explore Long Lake right next door to Bowles Lake, and if you come at the right                  time of year, Wisconsin River offers some tremendous whitewater. If you came to camp Birkensee Resort is a pleasant place to do that It's always perfect to pop by Whirlpool Rapids. High temperatures at Bowles Lake through the long summer days are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's.
