Some nearby water includes Handsaw Creek, and a beautiful lake like Twin Bessies is a good spot to check out. If you need a location to stay Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a pleasant choice, and Curve Inn Resort is a fine local campground. Borth Lake is a good location of normal rainfall; all through September       this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A short journey to The Spring is always worthwhile, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Sand Lake. Be careful coming to Borth Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Peshtigo River; if you come at the right time of year, Thunder River offers some perfect whitewater.                  Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Borth Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
