High Lake is a lake in close proximity, and you can stay the night at Antigo Lake RV Park. Borth Lake is a good location of common precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually September, that's the one that rains the most; the driest       month is February. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful location for whitewater paddling close to Borth Lake is Eau Claire River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Borth Lake has to offer, you can camp at Shady Brook Campground. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wolf River, and a delightful close by hotel is Days Inn of Antigo. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Borth Lake while overnight                  lows are mostly in the 50's.
