While you're here at Boris Lake you can take a hike along the Virgin Pine Trail; Boris Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Perch Lake Campground is a great local campground. From a rain point of view Boris Lake is a reasonably normal site; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month       is February. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day you can explore Ino Swamp, a swamp right next door to Boris Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the North Country Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Lake Superior Lodge is a great choice. Lakes are perfect; Spider Lake is a lake that's near Boris Lake. At Boris Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight                  hours it's typically in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 10's with temperatures at Boris Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. Super 8 Ashland is a fine spot to get some rest; if you came to camp Crosswoods is a nice place to do that. Any time is a nice time at Boris Lake if you go for the outdoors.
