The winter brings highs down to the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Boot Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. Presque Isle has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and the slopes of Big Powderhorn Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. Americinn - Minocqua, Wi is a great place to get some rest, and Presque       Isle Campground is a fine local campground. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Gogebic Range. Not far from Boot Lake, you'll locate Spread Lake which is a striking lake. Boot Lake is a good spot of common precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Gogebic Range. Paddling on Planter Creek                  is so much fun, and Birch Lake Resort and Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Minocqua is a great choice, and Indianhead is a splendid local ski area. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. Yeah, come here to Boot Lake for a good time.
