Boot Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. All year is a brilliant time in the Gogebic Range if you adore the outdoors. Comfort Inn Minocqua is a great place to get some rest; Indianhead has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. A perfect spot to camp here at Boot Lake is Presque Isle Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Planter Creek. Boot Lake is located in the Gogebic Range.

| | During the months of summer highs here at Boot Lake get into the 70's, and the night is rather colder of course, generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's with temperatures at Boot Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do next to Boot Lake.
