If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Boot Lake. The Hay Meadow Trail is a splendid hiking trail in the neighborhood of Boot Lake, and Boot Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, River's Edge Park is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The nice people of Eau Claire like to hang out close by. An out of the ordinary       thing to take a look at close to Boot Lake is Washington Creek Wildlife Area Dam, and if you've had enough of Boot Lake, Round Lake is close by. High temperatures at Boot Lake through the summertime are in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's.
