Lakes are such calm places, why not explore Rock Lake right next door to Boot Lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Eau Claire River. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Forest Point Resort & Golf Course; if you need a place to stay Americinn - Hayward, Wi is a great choice.
