Boos Lake is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, Chippewa River Campground is a pleasant site to camp nearby, and while you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Ross ' Teal Lake Lodge & Teal Wing Golf Club. Some of the water nearby flows, like Christy Creek, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River - East Fork. You believe that's       enough? Just getting warmed up. A good close by hotel is Best Western Holiday House, and going for a hike along the North Country Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. During the warm days of summer here at Boos Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Boos                  Lake. Get drenched paddling on Chippewa River - West Fork, and you can stay the night at Boulder Lodge Resort. From a rain point of view Boos Lake is a relatively typical place; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, and since you're here, you could also visit beautiful Meadow Lake.
